Behavioral Health Services Joint Efforts

Located in San Pedro, California, Joint Efforts, a program of Behavioral Health Services, Inc. (BHS), offers support for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions for adolescents (ages 12–17), young adults (18–20), and adults of all ages. Youth services include individualized assessments, early intervention for at-risk youth, and recreational activities, with programming scheduled after school and on Saturdays.
Joint Efforts provides individual, group, and family therapy, along with life skills training focused on coping, wellness, and relapse prevention. These services aim to support lasting behavioral change. Adults may enroll in standard or intensive outpatient programs (IOP), which typically last 3 to 9 months and involve 1 to 5 sessions per week, depending on clinical needs.
