Youth Advocate Services

Youth Advocate Services (YAS) supports children, teens, and adults facing behavioral and mental health challenges. They serve individuals ages 4 to 65+ through Medicaid-funded services, focusing on recovery and resiliency. YAS offers community-based behavioral health care in homes, schools, and local spaces across Franklin County, Ohio. Clients receive counseling, psychiatric support, and school-based interventions—delivered by licensed professionals who meet families where they are.
YAS uses a mix of evidence-based and holistic therapies to help clients build coping skills and lead healthier lives. These include individual, family, and group counseling, mental health assessments, therapeutic play for children, and early childhood mental health services. Their team also offers clinical social work, behavioral intervention, and advocacy in special education, all rooted in a strengths-based model that promotes healing and long-term growth.
