YALE Academy Level II Residential SA and BH

YALE Academy offers a residential program for children ages 12 to 17 and transitioning adults up to age 21. It provides a home for 24 young people, serving males and females, who have been diagnosed with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The program creates a safe and supportive community where students can focus on their well-being. This environment is designed to set the stage for positive change and personal learning.
The academy uses a hands-on approach to help students understand their thoughts and actions. Staff teach students to recognize the triggers that lead to addictive behaviors. The primary goal is to provide students with practical coping skills they can use every day. These new tools help them make healthier choices and remain substance-free long after they leave the program and return to their communities.
