Windows of Discovery Outpatient

Windows of Discovery offers comprehensive outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP/PHP) care for adults and young adults facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The program treats alcohol, opioid, trauma-related, dual-diagnosis, and serious emotional conditions. Recovery begins with a collaborative treatment plan that includes flexible scheduling, behavioral counseling, group and family therapy, relapse prevention, and telehealth options to support continuity of care.
The treatment methods used support each client’s emotional, mental, and spiritual health through personalized plans. Therapists utilize various approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step facilitation, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma-informed care and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Naltrexone.. These combined strategies help build emotional strength, develop healthy coping skills, and promote long-term recovery while allowing clients to return home after each session.
Extensive services support special populations, including justice-involved clients, couples, and those struggling with gambling or behavioral addictions. Programs include vocational support, marital counseling, family therapy, and education on substance use. The center offers comprehensive assessments, including drug and alcohol testing using saliva, urine, or breathalyzer. The welcoming atmosphere of the center assists transitioning clients with discharge planning, aftercare counseling, progress monitoring, life skills training, sober living and social services referrals.
