About Urban Recovery
The Urban Recovery Center provides patients with substance use disorders with the highest caliber medical care and evidence-based therapy. The rooftop lounge at Urban Recovery, which is situated in Red Hook, Brooklyn's waterfront neighborhood, offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the New York Bay. The 36 inpatient beds, including 6 detox-specific beds, are located in the five-level structure, which offers private residential treatment for a range of co-occurring problems.
Urban Recovery utilizes an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach. Treatments can include medication assisted treatment (MAT), seeking safety therapy, and DBT. After detox, clients will receive 35 hours of counseling treatment services per week. This includes group counseling spread out over 7 days each week and 1 hour of individual counseling. This intensive treatment allows the client to kick start their recovery and work each day to move forward in their recovery journey. Urban Recovery has 24-hour nursing, a full-time staff including psychiatrists, counselors, and wellness professionals in spirituality, arts, and fitness. On site, there is an in-house chef, fitness room, music studio, art room, and private rooftop deck. Clients can enjoy yoga and pilates with professional instructors. Urban Recovery is accredited by CARF and is private pay.
