Urban Minority Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Outreach Program (UMADAOP) of Dayton

UMADAOP of Dayton supports individuals facing drug and alcohol addiction, depression, and reentry challenges. The team provides outpatient treatment, recovery support, and prevention services for youth, adults, and seniors. With a strong focus on Dayton’s African-American and underserved communities, the center delivers care that respects cultural values and strengthens community connections.
The team uses proven, evidence-based approaches to help clients create lasting change. Therapists teach life skills, strengthen family relationships, and guide clients in managing stress and emotions. Clients participate in group and individual counseling, receive relapse prevention support, and connect to community resources that reinforce recovery.
UMADAOP runs youth violence prevention initiatives, family bonding workshops, and wellness education for seniors. Their reentry programs assist individuals transitioning from incarceration by offering job readiness training, recovery coaching, and housing support.
