Turning Point - Stanfield House

Turning Point Stanfield House is a residential treatment programme providing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment that is personally tailored to each client. Their 12-bed facility houses both men and women who are seeking treatment for drug or alcohol addictions and who have already completed a detox programme.
Clients have access to comfortable accommodations such as private rooms, nutritious, chef-prepared meals, and shared spaces for recreational activities. The therapeutic environment fosters a sense of community, and clients participate in communal activities such as meal times, group therapy, and connection promoting activities. In addition to evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI), Turning Point also offers holistic methods like yoga, acupuncture, and meditation to help promote overall wellbeing.
Patients receive emotional and psychological support from trained professionals and peers in recovery in a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment, where active participation in treatment is encouraged and required to complete the programme. Clients are required to commit to their sobriety and abstinence, and may submit to random drug tests.
