Sobriety House

Sobriety House is a CARF-accredited treatment center in Detroit that supports adult men with substance use conditions. They offer short-term residential stays up to 30 days, outpatient care, recovery coaching, and aftercare planning. Since 1964, they have helped men rebuild their lives through structure, purpose, and community.
Their approach blends evidence-based and supportive therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma counseling, and family therapy. Clients also receive individual, group, and peer-led sessions to build emotional resilience. Clients live in a structured setting with shared routines and daily responsibilities that build accountability. They participate in indoor and outdoor activities like walking, basketball, and gym workouts.
