ShareHouse has provided treatment for substance use and mental health since 1975. They offer several levels of care, including day treatment (PHP), residential treatment, virtual options, and sober living. Their residential program features 87 bedrooms in an apartment-style setting and stands out for its Treatment University, which ensures each client receives individualized care. Separate housing for men and women is provided, while common areas and dining spaces are shared. ShareHouse accepts a variety of insurance options, including Medicaid, private insurance, and income-based funding sources for eligible clients.
Treatment at ShareHouse combines evidence-based therapies with the 12-Step philosophy. Clients take part in both individual counseling and group therapy, covering topics like anger management, spirituality, shame in recovery, and gender-specific community meetings. Their evidence-based therapies support long-term recovery, while holistic options, such as spiritual care and wellness activities, nurture mind, body, and spirit.
Clients live in gender-specific residential buildings, with shared cafeterias and community spaces. The facility includes private bedrooms, a wellness area, arts and crafts room, game room, computer room, and laundry services. Spiritual care and culinary services are also available onsite, helping create a comfortable and supportive environment.
