River Place Behavioral Health

Serving the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas, River Place Behavioral Health offers a place for healing away from the pressures of daily life. They treat mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders through inpatient crisis care and intensive outpatient programming (IOP), blending traditional and experiential therapies. Beginning at the start of treatment, River Place works with clients and their families to develop a detailed discharge plan. This plan outlines professional referrals, community-based resources, and online support to help clients maintain and build upon the progress they achieved during treatment. Discharge planning promotes lasting wellness by ensuring clients continue to receive care beyond their time at River Place.
