Reflections Mental Health

Reflections Mental Health is located in Madison, conveniently off the beltline. They offer outpatient therapy for kids, teens, and adults, and specializes in serving individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Other specialities of Reflections include trauma, attachment, anxiety & stress, dissociation, children & teens, and first responders & helping professionals. Reflections has therapists who use different methods of treatment and specialize in various areas of mental health. Some methods therapists use with children and teens include therapeutic play, eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and integrative attachment trauma protocol for children (IATP-C). The clinic offers various methods of treatment depending on the individual’s needs.
In addition, the clinic owner offers therapy intensives, which are long, 3-6 hour sessions over one or multiple days. They offer both EMDR intensives and crisis or acute incident response intensives. Other methods that can be used in the intensives are mindfulness, internal family systems, and somatic & polyvagal work.
