Real Deal Therapy and Wellness

This outpatient treatment center approaches addiction treatment by focusing on the problem that caused the addiction in the first place. The cause of addiction looks different from person to person so Real Deal creates individualized plans to address the mental health of each person first and foremost. The clinicians believe that by addressing the cause of addiction, the cycle of addiction is less likely to repeat itself. Real Deal rejects a shame-based approach to working with their clients, as they believe that addiction is a disease that anyone is susceptible to. They also work to address the mind, body and spirit of each client through holistic therapies that help clients discover personal meaning, change behavioral patterns and adjust limiting beliefs.
Real Deal offers partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and private therapy sessions. The PHP and IOP are for clients struggling with addiction and private therapy is offered for clients with addiction and/or mental health issues. In each of these programs, clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy, gestalt therapy, existential therapy and integrated therapy. Real Deal also provides 12-Step programs, relapse prevention counseling, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and family counseling.
