Phoenix Center Serenity Place/Womens Residential

This residential center provides treatment for pregnant women and young mothers with substance use disorders. It offers a structured environment where women can live with their preschool-age children while receiving care. The program can accommodate up to 16 women, each with up to two children, and gives priority to those with the greatest medical and recovery needs.
The program aims to support recovery from substance use, promote child development, and strengthen family stability. Services include over 50 hours per week of structured activities such as therapy, parenting education, and life skills training. The approach is comprehensive, addressing both the individual’s treatment needs and the broader challenges that affect family well-being.
Each day includes scheduled sessions, group and individual counseling, and parenting support, all within a predictable routine. Children receive care and early learning opportunities while mothers focus on recovery and building daily living skills. Most participants stay several months, allowing time to develop healthy patterns and prepare for independent living.
