Orbium Barcelona

Orbium was founded in 2010 and prides itself in being a pioneer of introducing the Minnesota Model approach to Spain. They specialize in treating both substance and behavioural addictions and offer a holistic and comprehensive approach to treatment. Throughout treatment, Orbium focuses on helping individuals develop life skills and relapse prevention.
Orbium has a day centre where they offer an intensive outpatient program, which includes 2 group therapy sessions per day, 2 family therapy sessions per month, and 1 individual therapy session per week. In addition, they offer workshops, physical activities, mindfulness sessions, personal development, and a nutrition service specialized in addictions.
Orbium also offers a residential centre in Valle del Chorro for individuals needing a more intensive detoxification before continuing in their treatment. This centre is surrounded by nature for residents to enjoy hiking, walking, and taking in the beautiful scenery while they are receiving treatment. During this programme, Orbium offers psychiatric consultations, individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducational workshops, and more. Residents are expected to stay in this programme for a minimum of one month.
Orbium offers a youth area for children and adolescents requiring treatment for addictions or problems related to addictions. They involve family in treatment and offer 1-on-1 psychotherapy, family guidance & education, family mediation, family therapeutic groups, family therapy, and groups for teenagers.
