Northeastern Oklahoma Council on Alcoholism

Located in northeast Oklahoma, the Northeastern Oklahoma Council on Alcoholism (NOCA) is a non-profit center that treats drug and alcohol addiction. Since 1975, NOCA has provided both residential and outpatient care to people struggling with substance use, including those with mental health challenges. The center’s mission focuses on removing barriers and offering community-based, personalized treatment.
NOCA uses proven therapies like the Hazelden Cognitive Behavioral program to help people understand and change harmful behaviors. They also offer relapse prevention, life skills training, and support for people who have legal issues. This mix of therapy helps participants build healthier habits and prepare for long-term recovery.
During the six-month program, participants begin with 30 days of residential treatment, then continue with five months of structured support. NOCA requires participants to work or attend school and stay accountable with staff check-ins and random drug testing. The center provides a safe, supervised place where people can focus on healing and responsibility.
