NexStep Teen Academy

Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, this center helps teens ages 12–17 who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, ADHD, self-harm, and other mental or behavioral health challenges. They offer multiple levels of care including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient programs with daily therapy, academic support, and skill-building in a safe, structured, and school-like environment.
The center uses proven therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with art therapy, mindfulness, and family counseling to treat the whole teen. Each teen gets a custom treatment plan with 1-on-1 therapy, group sessions, and family involvement.
