New Visions Counseling

New Visions Counseling Services is a privately owned outpatient treatment facility for adults struggling with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and gambling addiction. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers support to patients and their families through individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy sessions.
Patients seeking outpatient treatment services from New Visions will be given an initial substance abuse assessment. A therapist will use this assessment to determine treatment needs and goals and to help create an individualized treatment plan. New Visions offers anger management, independent therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and drug and alcohol education. Their substance abuse treatment and education follows the PRIME curriculum, designed to challenge common beliefs and attitudes that directly contribute to high-risk behaviors that lead to drug and alcohol use. Some of the topics that are covered in treatment include addiction, 12-step orientation, cognitive restructuring, emotional intelligence, codependency and healthy relationships, assertiveness and boundaries, stress management, relapse prevention, grief and loss, family issues, and more. New Visions also provides urine drug screening and alcohol breathalyzer tests on site.
New Visions Counseling Services offers immediate help for drug and alcohol addiction with no waiting list. They accept most commercial insurances, including Medicaid. Virtual services may be available for initial substance abuse assessments and individual counseling sessions.
