Located in Riverside California, MFI Recovery - A Woman’s Place offers family-oriented residential treatment for women with substance use concerns and their children. A safe and comfortable environment, A Woman’s Place offers childcare, cribs, high chairs, a play room, outside play areas, and walking access to a local elementary school so school age children can continue their education during residential treatment. The Downtown Riverside Metrolink Station is about a mile from A Woman's Place, providing access to Los Angeles. Women typically stay at A Woman’s Place from 3-6 months and can not only stay with their children, but also stay while pregnant or attempting to renew custody of their children.
A Woman’s place offers gender-specific, trauma-informed care, integrating individual, group, and family therapy with detox. Individualized treatment combines evidence-based therapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with life skills training, including parenting classes, to help women thrive as mothers in society.
