Liberty Bay Recovery Center

Located in the coastal town of Portland, Maine, Liberty Bay offers medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment. Liberty Bay uses a therapeutic community approach when it comes to treatment. Through a combination of group therapy and individual counseling, clients will work to develop an awareness of which negative behaviors and patterns have contributed to the addiction. A 12-Step framework is incorporated into the plan as well as yoga and fitness. Although the duration of the program will vary depending on the type of treatment, most treatment plans typically last 90 days. Liberty Bay also offers an aftercare program for those who would like to continue receiving services as they transition back into daily life.
