La Amistad - Adult and Outpatient

Located just north of Orlando, La Amistad Behavioral Health Services helps people with mental health and substance use issues. They offer residential treatment for adults only, while their day treatment (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are available for both adults and teens. A dedicated program for active-duty military members and veterans addresses concerns like trauma and mood disorders, addressing the root cause of challenges while actively involving family in care.
Patients receive individual, group, and family therapy, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed care, with approaches like prolonged exposure (PE) therapy. La Amistad’s peaceful campus includes private and shared rooms—many with in-room bathrooms—and offers nutritious meals daily. Separate spaces for outpatient and residential programs maintain structure and create a focused environment for each stage of recovery.
