Intermountain Residential

Intermountain Residential supports children ages 4-13 with behavioral health challenges. Their 40-acre campus in Helena, Montana, includes three cottages housing up to 24 children. Treatment encompasses clinical assessments, individualized plans, therapy sessions, medication management, an accredited on-campus school, and engaging outdoor and community activities.
Intermountain Residential uses a Developmental Relational Model to meet each child's needs through relationship-based experiences that promote brain development. Clinicians apply a developmental lens to assess attachment and connection patterns. Each cottage has an in-house therapist, ensuring therapy remains a consistent, integrated part of daily life.
Intermountain supports children with trauma, grief, emotional dysregulation, social difficulties, academic struggles, anxiety, and depression. Their interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists, milieu counselors, certified teachers, and support staff delivers personalized care in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.
