Helping Hands Recovery Center

Helping Hands Recovery Center offers specialized treatment for women suffering from substance abuse and related traumas. Their outpatient and attentive outpatient programs offer holistic and evidence-based therapies, life skills, and treatment for co-occurring disorders. Their evidence based-therapies include life skills, CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma therapy. Additionally, they also offer holistic-based methods such as mediation, art, and equine therapy. Helping Hands Recovery Center also offers support for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, mood, and personality disorders. The center works with different local sober living accommodations to provide housing for out-of-town clients, which has shared bedrooms.
The center itself is comprised of artistic and comfortable spaces and is located in the tropical Oakland Park neighborhood. Helping Hands Recovery has a mediation room and various healing spaces for therapy and art. Locally, clients can enjoy equine therapy facilitated by the center. Their treatment is trauma-informed and their staff is trained to address emotional, sexual, and physical trauma and lead women to a path of empowerment, resilience, and happiness. They offer case management services and have a post-treatment alumni program.
