Fox Run Hospital

Fox Run Center helps children and adolescent girls who struggle with trauma, autism, depression, anxiety, or developmental conditions. The center offers a 100-bed residential psychiatric treatment in a safe, structured setting. With separate programs for different age groups and needs, it’s a place where young people can learn to manage emotions, build confidence, and grow stronger.
Treatment focuses on helping kids cope with trauma, mood disorders, and behavior challenges. Therapies include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), individual and group sessions, family therapy, and expressive therapies like art and music. Skills like relaxation, emotional control, and social behavior are taught through evidence-based practices and hands-on activities to help residents heal and succeed.
Kids stay in shared rooms with peers of the same age and gender. All personal care items are provided, and meals are reviewed by a dietitian. Daily life includes an on-campus school, therapy, recreation, and fun activities like games, talent shows, and outdoor challenges. Families can visit often, and the center helps with travel needs to make staying connected easier.
