About Farrell Treatment Center Connecticut

The programs at Farrell Treatment Center include an intensive residential program, intensive outpatient program, individual and group outpatient therapy. The residential program is medically monitored and residents receive psychoeducation and group therapy related to substance use disorders and the importance of mental health. The length of stay is determined by the client’s unique needs. Clients can also work on the grief, loss or trauma that helped contribute to the development of their addiction. The IOP occurs 3 days a week for 3 hours at a time. The program has daytime and evening availability to help accommodate the most amount of clients. Aside from addiction, clients can address anger management, stress reduction, trauma and relapse prevention.
The aftercare services that are provided at Farrell allow their clients to feel a sense of community after leaving their program. They can attend relapse prevention groups, receive medication-assisted treatment, receive placement for sober living accommodations, receive placement in lower levels of care and receive information on Twelve Step groups and faith-based recovery programs.
