Encinitas Detox Center

Located in the San Diego area, Encinitas Detox Center offers a residential detox program from alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, opioids, prescription drugs, synthetic drugs, and various other substances. They host 5 clients at a time and can accommodate dietary needs or other special requirements. Treatment includes individual and group counseling with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), daily and weekly excursions, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EDMR). Depending on individual preferences, they facilitate either the 12-Steps program or an alternate program like self management and recovery training (SMART) or the Buddhist Refuge Recovery. Encinitas Detox Center uses methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone to manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms. The staff treat co-occurring trauma, mood swings, erratic behavior, and other mental health conditions related to the detox.
The location has private and shared rooms with balconies and an in-suite jacuzzi. There is a shared outdoor patio, and clients are allowed to explore the nearby area. Families are encouraged to visit for weekly counseling and visits.
