Dawn Farm

Dawn Farm is a non-profit organization that provides long-term treatment services to people struggling with addiction. Since 1973, they’ve offered help to individuals regardless of their drug of choice or ability to pay for treatment. Their continuum of care includes residential treatment, transitional housing, outpatient care, sub-acute detoxification, and various outreach programs.
Dawn Farm's unique approach to treatment emphasizes a recovery support system that will last long after completion of treatment. Clients take responsibility for all aspects of their lives and participate in meaningful work while in treatment. Dawn Farm also offers specialized services such as medical care, art therapy, and family services to help clients improve basic family relationships. Dawn Farm's Scholarship Fund for long-term residential treatment helps ensure that no individual is denied services due to lack of insurance or funds.
Dawn Farm's commitment to meeting the unique needs of each client reflects in their individual treatment planning. Treatment plans combine evidence-based approaches such as mutual aid programs, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Additionally, they offer medicine for co-occurring disorders and psychiatric services delivered by an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner. The cooperative nature of Dawn Farm allows clients to care for themselves and one another while in treatment.
