Cuan Mhuire - Athy

Cuan Mhuire - Athy is a residential program in County Kildare, Ireland offering treatment for alcohol, gambling, and drug addictions. Open since 1966, they provide both residential and medical detox services to adults. Their large facility has 117 beds for the alcohol addiction program and 22 beds for the drug addiction program. They offer two treatment program lengths. The alcohol and gambling addiction program is 12-weeks and the drug addiction program is 20-weeks. Cuan Mhuire uses 12-Step programming, group therapy, meditation, psychoeducation, and personal development to help individuals on their recovery journey. They also incorporate clients’ family in the treatment process and host family days.
