This women’s residential program supports mothers diagnosed with substance use disorders, offering 90-120 days of treatment in a nurturing, family-centered environment. It allows women to bring children up to age 10, helping preserve parent-child bonds during recovery. Services begin after detox if needed, and admission requires documentation and a valid assessment. Medicaid is accepted, and assistance is available for those needing coverage.
Therapy includes daily group sessions on trauma, parenting, and life skills, along with individual and family counseling, crisis support, and peer mentorship. The center also offers on-site medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol, plus access to primary medical care and mental health medications. Their trauma-informed approach emphasizes safety, trust, empowerment, and shared decision-making throughout the recovery process.
Mothers and children live in private rooms with their own bathrooms. Children under 5 attend a licensed therapeutic daycare on-site, while older children attend public school nearby. Women help with chores, meals, and mutual childcare when needed. Visitation begins after two weeks and follows a biweekly schedule. The center restricts phone use and limits cigarette intake to support structured living, encourage self-discipline, and help women establish healthier daily routines during recovery.
