Cenikor Odyssey House

Cenikor Foundation’s Odyssey House in Houston treats adults with substance use and mental health issues. Services include prevention, detox, residential, outpatient, and aftercare programs. Clients begin at the level suited to their needs and move through care as they progress. The program uses an integrated model that addresses the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—supporting recovery at every stage.
Clients are paired with a recovery coach during their first week. Coaches have lived recovery experience and provide support through weekly check-ins. Treatment includes individual and group counseling, evidence-based practices, and skill-building in a structured setting. This approach helps clients manage challenges, strengthen recovery tools, and address the root causes of addiction.
Support continues after treatment to reinforce recovery skills. Recovery support services (RSS), check-ins, and alumni events help clients stay engaged. One-on-one coaching, resource referrals, and a growing local alumni network promote long-term recovery. These services are offered at no additional cost and aim to build community, encourage connection, and increase the chance of lasting success.
