About Bunkhouse Recovery Ranch

This sober living ranch nestled in upstate New York welcomes 16 male adults on a journey towards recovery. On the 30-acre ranch, the men can escape the pull of addiction and trauma. The comprehensive program includes comfortable accommodations, nourishing meals, equine therapy and more, all infused with the 12-step method. The program facilitates holistic healing, including telehealth appointments with doctors, psychiatrists and therapists. The men are required to stay for at least 1 year in the program. Their program offers 3 unique tracks that are each 1 year long. The first year includes high structure, 12-step work, peer support, house groups and individual case management. The men learn to stay sober and manage their co-occurring disorders. The 2nd track involves discovering their purpose. The men take time to understand what they want out of life and they take vocational assessments to help determine. The 3rd track sets in motion the skills learned in the previous years, with one year of education in their chosen field. When a man graduates the program, he will have 3 years of sobriety, skills and a way to use them to earn a living.
