Bethany Christian Services Grand Rapids Campus

Bethany Christian Services in the northeast part of Grand Rapids helps people with mental health issues (including trauma) or substance use addiction. They offer both outpatient and residential care with aftercare support. Their care is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive for youth, families, and refugees, especially those facing serious emotional struggles.
The center's treatment uses proven therapies like trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and group and family counseling. These therapies help clients learn coping skills, improve relationships, and understand their feelings for better emotional balance and lasting recovery.
To make treatment more accessible, the center offers virtual visits and language services like Spanish and sign language. They have a program called ProTrek which is an immersive experience for youths ages 14 to 18 who want to aim higher and have fun doing it. Another program is YouthBuild that champions today's youth, ages 17 to 24, to forge a new path for themselves and their communities.
