BALANCE Eating Disorder Treatment Center

Located in the heart of New York City, Balance Eating Disorder Treatment provides personalized care for individuals struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and related body image concerns. They offer a full continuum of care including day (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and step-down groups, serving clients aged 14 and older 7 days a week. The day treatment program (PHP) meets Monday through Sunday, offering consistent, structured support.
Treatment integrates individual and group therapy rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). These approaches help clients replace unhelpful thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and build lasting resilience in recovery.
Balance’s flexible scheduling and weekend-only programming allow clients to stay engaged in treatment while maintaining daily life commitments. Programs are offered in small groups of up to 15 clients, promoting meaningful connection and personalized attention in a warm, inclusive environment.
