Awakenings Treatment Center

Awakenings provides intensive outpatient treatment for addictions, eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their program combines cutting-edge neuroscientific treatment technologies with a holistic mind, body, spirit approach to healing. This includes individual and group sessions, family involvement, interactive dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapy, an introduction to 12-Step recovery, and mindfulness practices. As a pet-friendly center, Awakenings welcomes service animals as part of the treatment experience.
To provide the safest and most sensitive environment possible, Awakenings conducts separate gender-specific trauma programs, allowing clients to spend the bulk of their treatment day primarily with same-gendered peers.
Awakenings offers a specific track focused on the unique needs of those identifying as LGBTQ, providing a safe and confidential space to address issues such as coming out, gender and/or sexual identities, bullying, healing trauma and grief, relationship concerns, mental health challenges, and self-esteem.
Knowing addiction and mental health challenges affect the whole family, Awakenings offers a monthly Family Day, bringing clients and family members together for an experiential healing process. Weekly family therapy sessions are also an integral part of the Awakenings approach.
