ATTIC Maidson Schwert House

Set near the Dane County Regional Airport, ATTIC (Alternative To Traditional Incarceration of Citizens) helps adults involved in the state or federal justice system. They work with the courts to find non-prison treatment options, including substance use and mental health treatment, job training, community service options, and housing support. They aim to reduce recidivism, increase public safety, and improve clients' long-term success.
Some services ATTIC uses are screenings to determine appropriate alternatives, case management, electronic monitoring, drug and alcohol testing, DUI/OWI court programs, individual therapy, group therapy, and community service arrangements. At this sober living location, clients stay for 60-90 days and avoid jail time, with the goal of developing healthy habits and transitioning back into everyday life.
