Angel House of Georgia

Angel House of Georgia, founded in 2011 and located in Georgia, helps adults recover from drug and alcohol addiction. They offer a long-term residential program for women and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults 18 and older. They also provide a Georgia state-approved DUI Intervention Program, which includes alcohol and drug treatment, clinical evaluations, anger management, and individual, family, and group sessions. Their program focuses on structure, accountability, and ongoing support that helps adults build a strong foundation for lifelong recovery.
The center's approach combines counseling, peer support, and 12-step principles to guide each person’s recovery journey. Clients benefit from small group sessions, one-on-one support, and education that teaches healthy coping tools. These services help individuals better understand their addiction, set personal goals, and stay on track. For those with mental health needs, referrals for therapy and medication management are also available.
Women in the residential program live in a safe, supportive home for up to 12 months. The setting is drug- and alcohol-free and includes case management, financial education, and regular drug testing. Residents also have the option to move into transitional housing after graduation, where they can continue their growth, reunite with family, and stay involved in their recovery community.
