Akua Mind Body - Mental Health Treatment for Women Orange County

Offering residential treatment for mental health disorders, AKUA uses a combination of psychotherapy, medications, and eastern holistic methods to help individuals move towards well-being. They treat adult women in 1-on-1 and group settings at their Lani Women's home.
AKUA's residential program for mental health treatment includes a combination of proven and experiential therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), music (harp) therapy, and art therapy. They also incorporate holistic approaches like acupuncture, tai chi, mindfulness, reiki, and yoga. All of their care is trauma-informed and individuals will walk away with practical tools and life skills that aid in long-term recovery. AKUA also has a free alumni aftercare program consisting of support meetings, peer support, and alumni events.
At 373 Ralcam Place, women stay in shared rooms with other women in recovery. The residence has an on-site gym and laundry, with a spacious fenced-in backyard, and a chef prepares healthy meals daily to aid in recovery. Residents also have access to transportation services and 24/7 support during their residential stay with AKUA.
