Aiken Center

Aiken Center supports teens and adults facing challenges with alcohol, drugs, trauma, anxiety, and related mental health needs. Teens ages 12 -18 receive care through outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), with walk-in assessments available. The center stands out for its personal, non-judgmental approach that invites family involvement and supports long-term recovery. Specialized tracks, like the Women’s IOP, address unique needs such as trauma, parenting, and gender-specific experiences.
Treatment is led by licensed counselors, therapists, and peer support specialists using evidence-based therapies. Services include individual and group counseling, family therapy, and support from peers who have walked the recovery path. Teens and adults learn to manage stress, build self-esteem, and develop healthy routines. Medication-assisted recovery (MAR) is available for those struggling with opioids or alcohol, offering medication and therapy together for more effective, lasting recovery.
Clients live at home while attending treatment at Aiken Center, creating a balance between structure and daily life. The environment is warm and welcoming, helping teens and adults feel safe, not judged. Telehealth options make it easier to stay connected to care. Family members are encouraged to participate, offering ongoing support beyond the clinic. Community resources like free Narcan kits to prevent overdose deaths and the alcohol and drug safety action program (ADSAP) supports those with DUI charges.These services help reduce barriers to care by offering tools, education, and support that make recovery more accessible, practical, and connected to everyday life.
