About Adult and Teen Challenge Jacksonville Women's Home

Adult & Teen Challenge at their Jacksonville Women's Rehab, also known as Jacksonville Women's Home, offers both long-term faith-based rehabilitation and short-term licensed therapy. Adult & Teen Challenge’s recovery program promotes hard work, giving back, and helping others. Some of their therapeutic approaches include group therapy, individual therapy, 12-Step curriculum, life skills training, family therapy, and psychoeducation.
The staff at this facility focus on achieving long-term sobriety through building spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and educational foundations. Biblical studies, nutritional counseling, recreation activities, and curriculum related to coping mechanisms and chemical dependencies are provided. 86% of patients report being sober after one year of program completion, and 92% of patients report being in good health after one year of program completion. There are 4 different program levels and duration of stay, listed below.
Lasting 14 weeks, patients will attend courses that educate and evolve previous negative thought processes and beliefs, and learn the beginning steps to start a life-long journey of recovery.
Lasting 12 weeks, patients will dive into their past relationships and identity issues while participating in spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical work.
Lasting 12 weeks, this stage starts to build a foundation for the future through identifying each patient's talents and motivations.
The 4th and final stage lasts 12 weeks and puts the education and spiritual work into action. Patients start to re-enter society by securing employment and housing, participating in the community, and resurrecting family relationships.
